NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
A Shelbyville man was killed in an early morning rollover crash in Hermitage.
It happened around 3:05 a.m. Thursday in the southbound lanes of Saundersville Road near General Kershaw Drive.
Police said Taylor Garretson, 18, was driving a 2006 Chevrolet pickup truck that slid off the roadway and hit a tree. The vehicle burst into flames and Garretson was unable to escape.
Witnesses saw the car on fire and tried to help the victim but were unable to save him.
