Father arrested after 2-year-old suffers bruises

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A man was arrested overnight in connection with a child abuse case.

According to court documents, Deshon Hayes is accused of hitting his 2-year-old son after he had just changed the child's diaper.

The arrest warrant says the father got upset with his son and caused red marks and bruising on the child.

Hayes was arrested and charged with aggravated child abuse.
