Black Friday shopping broke records this weekend and now Cyber Monday is here.
If you weren't one of the 247 million shoppers at the stores this weekend -- there's still time to get bargains.
Today is the day online retailers have been holding their post-Thanksgiving sales since 2005.
One data tracking firm says it expects sales today to be around a $1.5 billion.
But today is also a day that many crooks will try and take advantage.
Here are some tips to remember:
* Shop with retailers you know and make sure the site is secure with an "HTTPS" in the web address
* Use a credit card instead of a debit card for better protection from fraud
* Always check your statements
It's not just stores offering deals today. Many travel sites have sales on cruises, hotels and trips.
