Police in Gallatin are searching for a masked man who robbed a title loan store at gunpoint Saturday morning.

According to Sgt. Bill Storment, Gallatin Police spokesman, the holdup was reported around 8:30 a.m. at the Gallatin Title Loan at 317 West Main St.

Storment said the robber was wearing a dark blue or black hooded sweatshirt, light-colored sweat pants and a mask.

Police said the armed man showed a semi-automatic handgun to the clerk.

The robber fled on foot with two bags of money, Storment said.

No customers were in the store at the time of the holdup and no one was injured, according to police.

Police said there was surveillance video of the robbery that they will examine for clues.

If you have any information, police said to give them a call at 615-452-1313.
