NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
A convicted felon arrested Friday night for the Nov. 16 robbery of the Walgreens at 5600 Charlotte Pike is under investigation for similar holdups, according to Metro Police.
William Warrick, 32, was identified as the man who entered the Walgreens, indicated that he had a weapon, and demanded pain medication, police said.
The victim, a pharmacy employee, complied and handed over oxycodone pills, according to a police affidavit.
Warrick was taken into custody without incident at his Pebble Brook residence, police said. During an execution of a search warrant at the home, officers recovered a loaded pistol hidden under a couch cushion.
Police said Warrick's photo is being withheld pending lineups.
He is currently charged with aggravated robbery and felon in possession of a weapon.
Warrick has previous convictions for multiple thefts, assault, DUI, evading arrest and vehicle theft.
