Semi hauling pears catches fire on I-24 in KY

CADIZ, KY (WSMV) -

A tractor-trailer hauling pears somehow caught fire early Friday morning on Interstate 24 East in Trigg County, KY, causing lane closures for about seven hours.

The incident was reported at 5:38 a.m. just before exit 65 at Hopkinsville Road.

One lane of traffic was open by 10:30 a.m. The roadway was fully opened by 12:50 p.m.
