Man accused of using cane to attack woman - WSMV Channel 4

A Clarksville man was accused of attacking his roommate with a cane when she tried to leave Sunday afternoon, according to a police report.
The woman was trying to leave her Ringgold Road apartment when Jesse Wade Sowell attacked her, the report said.
The roommate told officers that Sowell grabbed her arm and hit her back and shoulder with his cane, according to the police report.
The victim had swelling on her arm, minor cuts on her back and bruising on her back right shoulder, police said.
Sowell has no previous domestic violence history, according to the report.
Sowell, 51, who gave a 480 Ringgold Rd. address, was charged with domestic assault.
