CLARKSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
A Clarksville man who was involved in a collision on his motorcycle earlier this month has died, according to police.
On Nov. 10, around 4:39 p.m., police said Walter Skowron, 66, of Clarksville, was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle east on Highway 76 towards Interstate 24.
A 2009 Toyota Scion driven by Kayla McClellan, 19, of Clarksville, was traveling west on Highway 76, made a left turn at the Sango Road intersection and failed to yield to the motorcycle, police said.
Skowron was flown by helicopter to Vanderbilt Medical Center with severe injuries in extremely critical condition and died from his injuries Friday at 1:44 p.m., police said.
Charges are pending, according to investigators.
This is the 13th motor vehicle-related fatality for the year, according to Jim Knoll, Clarksville Police spokesman.
