Hendersonville police issue warrants in auto parts store holdup

HENDERSONVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Police in Hendersonville didn't have to go far to find a man wanted in a robbery of a local auto parts store. Turns out, Corey Gaines, 22, was already behind bars in Nashville.

Gaines is accused of robbing the Auto Zone on West Main Street on Oct. 20 at approximately 8:15 p.m. Police said Gaines and another man wore masks and carried handguns when they robbed the business and left with the cash.

Detectives said their subsequent investigation led them to Gaines, of Nashville.

Police said Gaines is currently incarcerated in the Davidson County Jail awaiting service of the Sumner County warrants.
