NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
Traffic and safety concerns forced Metro to take action against a popular bus service in Nashville.
Megabus now has less than two months to find a new location to pick-up and drop-off its passengers.
According to The Tennessean, the Metro Traffic and Parking Commission voted on Monday to remove the "bus parking only" sign that's placed on the corner of 5th Ave. North and Commerce St. in the heart of downtown.
Megabus is known for its cheap fares and service to cities across the nation, but its been criticized for some now because of traffic concerns in a congested area.
Megabus also does not have a terminal.
On Jan. 1, the parking sign will be gone, and Megabus should be at a new location.
