Lanes reopen on I-24 East after 18-wheeler overturns

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

The I-24 East ramp to I-40 East has reopened after an 18-wheeler overturned Tuesday morning.

Officials closed the ramp, just east of downtown, to clear the interstate around 11 a.m.

There were no serious injuries in the wreck after the 18-wheeler flipped onto its side along the shoulder of the roadway.

The road was fully reopened around 3 p.m.
