MANCHESTER, TN (WSMV) -

A woman found beaten at her home Tuesday in Manchester is now out of the hospital, and detectives are hoping she can lead them to whomever killed her fiance before attacking her.

Thomas Colucci was found dead in the home's garage around 8 a.m. in the 7900 block of Maple Springs Road.

Investigators said he had been shot several times, and his fiancee, Connie King, was found beaten.

"This is not a case that's going to be solved in a matter of minutes. This is lengthy case, and it's going to take a while," said Coffee County Sheriff Steve Graves.

King has been released from the hospital and is now talking with detectives, but so far she has not been able to lead them to who's responsible.

"We do not have any specific person of interest at this time," Graves said.

Investigators said the motive for the murder is not known. They said it appears there was no break-in, and nothing was stolen from the home.

Graves said an autopsy was performed on Colucci on Wednesday, and the couple's cars are being processed for evidence.

The sheriff said calls are pouring in from tipsters.

"We are getting tips of vehicles seen in the area and people seen in the area. And we would ask people to continue to call, and we will follow up on everything," Graves said.

Detectives also said Colucci has ties to Nashville's music industry. They say he worked in production on a freelance basis, it appears.

Right now, they are trying to track down anyone who may have worked with him recently to see if they may be able to offer any clues about the crime that has an entire community on edge.
