FRANKLIN, TN (WSMV) -
Police in Franklin are searching for two people who stole a credit card from a church preschool classroom and then spent more than $2,000 at area stores.
Investigators say the suspects posed last month as parents wanting to enroll a child at the People's Church, and when left unattended in a classroom, they stole a credit card from a teacher's purse.
The pair then used the stolen credit card to buy items valued at more than $2,000 from stores, including Target, in Franklin and Spring Hill, police said.
Anyone who recognizes the suspects from surveillance photos is asked to call police at 615-794-4000.
