Fog in downtown Nashville at 6:15 a.m. Thursday
NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
A dense fog advisory is in effect until 9 a.m. for Nashville and the rest of Middle Tennessee.
Visibility is less than one-quarter mile in some areas, causing poor visibility with hazardous travel conditions.
A few low lying areas and parts of the Cumberland Plateau will have freezing temperatures, which could cause fog to freeze on some surfaces like bridges and overpasses.
Drivers should slow down, use low beams and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
After the fog burns off, sunny skies are expected today.
