Man struck, killed in Hermitage

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A Hermitage man died after being hit by a pickup truck on Old Hickory Boulevard on Friday night.

Metro police said 57 year-old Kirk Duke was trying to cross the street when the accident occurred.

The driver, Alejandro Andraca, 28, told police that he did not see Duke in the roadway.

According to police, Duke was not in a crosswalk.
