DICKSON, TN (WSMV) -
One person was hurt in a shooting Wednesday evening in Dickson County.
The incident occurred at a home on Payne Springs Road around 6 p.m.
Police said Roger Waynick got in a physical altercation with his wife's ex-husband, Matthew Jones.
During the exchange, Waynick pulled out a handgun and opened fire. Jones was shot in the backside and taken by LifeFlight to Vanderbilt Medical Center as a precaution.
Waynick has been charged with attempted homicide.
Police are still investigating the incident and aren't sure if more charges will be filed.
