Lawrence County man charged with rape

LAWRENCEBURG, TN (WSMV) -

Lawrence County investigators said a 45-year-old man faces six counts of aggravated statutory rape charges.

Police said George Edward Staggs was involved in a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old girl.

The Lawrence County Sheriff's Office said Staggs was jailed on a $600,000 bond.
