Crash briefly knocks out power to 2,000 Smyrna residents

SMYRNA, TN (WSMV) -

A crash knocked out power to about 2,000 Smyrna residents for a couple of hours early Monday morning.

Police said a vehicle struck a guy wire on a power pole near McClary and Lake Farm roads around 6 a.m.

The driver was taken into custody. Power was restored by 6 a.m.
