NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Less than a week after being released from the hospital, an infant is back in intensive care following heart surgery.

Andrew Hagewood has been in the hospital since February and had a heart transplant in March.

Last week he was able to go home to White House, TN, but started having trouble breathing and was readmitted to Vanderbilt Children's Hospital with fluid overload and difficulty breathing.

"In the back of your mind, you know that there is that great possibility that you will be back," said Keith Hagewood, Andrew's dad. "I was hoping that there would be a greater span of time period in us coming back to the hospital."

A spokeswoman for his fundraising campaign said he will probably be in the hospital for at least a week.
