3 accused of using fake money at Clarksville club

CLARKSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Police in Clarksville seized about $1,000 in counterfeit money Thursday morning and arrested three people in connection with the case.

Michael D. Long, 23, Keith J. Warner, 23, and James T. Jackson, 42, are accused of using fake $20 and $50 bills at a club in the 1900 Block of Ft. Campbell Boulevard.

Police said Jackson resisted arrest before being taken into custody.

Security called police after spotting one of the men flashing the money and taking pictures of it.

All three of the men faces charges of criminal simulation.  Long is also charged with possession of synthetic drugs.
