TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Alabama coach Nick Saban says quarterback AJ McCarron is sore but otherwise OK for the Tennessee game.
McCarron went down with a bruised right knee in the third quarter against Missouri but returned with a wrap on it for the next series. Saban says McCarron was still sore Monday but would "try to do some things in practice."
Wide receiver and return man Christion Jones has a sprained ankle and Saban says he's day to day.
Tailback Eddie Lacy says his hand was bruised after taking hits from helmets in the game but that it's not an issue.
Saban also says reserve defensive lineman LaMichael Fanning has written a letter apologizing to running back Russell Hansbrough for bodyslamming him late in the game. The play drew a personal foul penalty.
