NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
Nashville fire crews worked quickly this morning to keep an apartment fire in the West End area from getting worse.
Fire officials got the call around 10:45 a.m. The apartment units were by the fire station on West End.
Official said they needed additional crews, not because of the flames, but to relieve firefighters who had been on the scene for a while.
Firefighters couldn't tell us a cause of the fire, but residents said it was possibly a problem with plumbing work in one of the apartments.
