NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
Metro police are investigating after an active meth lab was discovered Friday near an elementary school.
Officers were serving a search warrant Friday afternoon at 285 Bell Rd., and inside they noticed meth-making materials. Three guns were also found in the house.
Crews with the Nashville Fire Department assisted at the scene, which is near Lakeview Elementary Design Center.
Terry Craighead, 43, and Ashley Wardlaw, 26, were arrested and face felony drug and weapons charges.
Police said Craighead has previous felony drug convictions, and Wardlaw has previous convictions for drug possession and theft.
