NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
Police are investigating after a man was shot Thursday afternoon outside an East Nashville convenience store.
The shooting was reported just before 3 p.m. near the Star Market in the 900 block of Dickerson Pike.
Investigators said the victim was shot twice in his extremities, then went inside the store saying he had been shot.
The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Police are interviewing witnesses for more information on the gunman, and a description has not been released.
