Two teenagers have been arrested following a robbery attempt and shooting Wednesday in a south Nashville neighborhood.
Otis Mitchell 19, of Sycamore Court, and Edwin D. Thompson, 16, of Meadow Court, are charged with three counts of especially aggravated robbery.
Police said the 25-year-old victim was approached by three people who asked where they could buy marijuana. When he said he didn't know, the group pulled a pistol and demanded the victims' property.
The victim was shot three times, once in the arm and twice in the legs.
The suspects fled in a silver Honda car with a temporary tag. Officers spotted the car Thursday and arrested Mitchell and Thompson.
Both suspects are under investigation in connection with other south Nashville robberies, police said.
The shooting victim's injuries were considered non-life threatening.
