Cannon Co. church destroyed by fire

MORRISON, TN (WSMV) -

A community in Cannon County is recovering after their church burned down on Monday.

The Ivy Bluff United Methodist Church caught fire in the early morning hours.

The fire marshal is on scene Tuesday trying to figure out what caused the blaze.

Originally built in 1948, community members said generations have been married in the iconic church.
