A child taken by his noncustodial mother last week has been found safe in Michigan, according to the Benton County Sheriff's Department.
An alert was issued after Ayden Zaccery Smith, 4, was last seen in the community of Big Sandy with his non-custodial mother, Jessica Coleman on Oct. 4, 2012.
Ayden was to be returned to his father after visitation, police said.
Over the weekend, a custodial interference warrant was issued for Jessica Coleman. She was later taken into custody by authorities.
