Husband accused of stabbing wife in Columbia

COLUMBIA, TN (WSMV) -

Police are looking for a husband accused of stabbed his wife inside their Maury County home Wednesday night.

The incident happened at a residence on Bradford Circle in Columbia just after 7 p.m.

Investigators said Joddie Daniel White, 42, and his wife apparently got into an argument at their home.

White allegedly stabbed his wife, Karen, in the chest.

He is still on the loose and wanted on charges of attempted first-degree murder. Police believe White may be on the way to Alabama.

His wife is in stable condition at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.
