| Place all the dry ingredients into a mixing bowl. | |||||||
| Whip eggs, buttermilk and melted butter. | |||||||
| Slowly add the liquid to the dry ingredients mixing thoroughly. | |||||||
| Add the pureed black eyed peas mix thoroughly to incorporate. | |||||||
| Scoop a tablespoon of the batter into 350 degree oil fry 4 -5 minutes until golden brown. | |||||||
