TUSCALOOSA COUNTY, AL (WBRC) -

Two Crimson Tide players who each suffered knee injuries during Saturday's game against Ole Miss are out for the season.

Coach Nick Saban announced Monday that Alabama's running back Dee Hart and wide receiver DeAndrew White will be unable to play for the remainder of the year due to their injuries.

"The MRI indicated that both Dee and DeAndrew sustained knee injuries that will require surgery and they will be out for the year," Saban said in a statement.

The Alabama Crimson Tide beat the Ole Miss Rebels 33-14. The Tide is off this Saturday and will face Missouri for their next game on Saturday, Oct. 13.
