CLARKSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
Two people were injured when a car hit a Clarksville bridge early Sunday.
The driver, Kelly Anderson, 29, was flown to Vanderbilt Hospital in critical-but-stable condition.
Passenger Daniel Shuckhart, 32, was transported to Gateway Medical Center with minor injuries.
According to Clarksville police, neither occupant was wearing a seatbelt.
The two were traveling south on Riverside Drive at about 2:40 a.m. when their car hit a railroad bridge abutment near Crossland Avenue.
Police said that alcohol may have been a factor in the crash. According to a news release, charges are pending.
