MTSU student crowned Miss Nashville

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Middle Tennessee State University student Jill Brooks was crowned Miss Nashville on Saturday.

Brooks, 23, captured the crown after singing Celine Dion's "I Surrender" during the talent portion of the pageant, which was held at Glencliff High School.

Brooks will represent Nashville at the Miss Tennessee Scholarship Pageant in June.
