NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
A country music legend was honored at the Grand Ole Opry on Tuesday night.
The Opry celebrated Loretta Lynn's 50th year as a member by hosting a star-filled special concert.
The Opry thanked Lynn by presenting her with a diamond watch.
Before performing at the event, the Kentucky native said the Opry stage is unlike any other.
"I get so nervous every time I go on anywhere, but the Grand Ole Opry is different. I think any Grand Ole Opry member will say that. When you go on the Opry, it's absolutely a different feeling," said Lynn.
Lee Ann Womack, Trace Adkins and Miranda Lambert were some of the stars who showed up to support the music legend.
Lynn has had 16 No. 1 songs and 52 top-10 hits in the course of her career that has spanned half a century.
