NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
Police are searching for a man seen wearing a shirt that said "I am Jesus" when he pushed an elderly woman to the ground and robbed her.
The woman and her husband were at Premier Orthopedics on Harding Place last Wednesday. As they were going into the building, police said the couple had a casual conversation with a man, who suddenly shoved the 84-year-old woman down and took her purse.
The robber then ran away.
At the time, the suspect was wearing an orange University of Tennessee hat and a black T-shirt that said "Donate Blood" on the front and "I am Jesus" on the back.
He is described as a white man in his early 30s, approximately 5'8" tall and weighing approximately 160 pounds. Police said he was seen hanging around the building most the morning last Wednesday.
