OAK GROVE, KY (WSMV) -
Police in Oak Grove, KY, said one person was killed and another was injured in a shooting at a convenience store early Sunday morning.
According to investigators, the gunfire broke out at the Mapco on Segler Drive around 3 a.m. and then a pursuit followed into Clarksville.
Hersey Mitchell and others have been arrested in connection with the case.
Police chased the group into Clarksville and caught them when they tried to ditch their car.
One victim was taken to Blanchfield Army Community Hospital at Fort Campbell and pronounced dead, police said.
Another victim was taken to Jenny Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, KY. The identity and condition of the victim has not been released.
