Crews repairing water main break in Franklin

FRANKLIN, TN (WSMV) -

Emergency crews are working to repair a water main break along Highway 96 in Franklin.

Workers estimate it will take a few hours to complete the work, because they're working to determine the extent of the damage.

Water is off in nearby neighborhoods, including an apartment complex.

Police had closed the highway between Glass Lane and 11th Avenue North, but it has since reopened.
