Two men accused of robbing Coffee County store

NORMANDY, TN (WSMV) -

The Coffee County Sheriff's Office said two men have been arrested for robbing a store earlier today.

Investigators said Mario Moore and Charles Duntay Gray, both of Chattanooga, entered the Barton Springs Grocery today armed with guns and demanded money.

The store owner complied with the request but as the suspects began to leave, police said the owner got his own gun and fired at least one shot.

Police said the two suspects got into their car and lead them on a short pursuit until their car developed some sort of mechanical problem.

That is when police arrested them.

They are both being held in the Coffee County Jail with a court date set for October.
