Motorcyclist dies after I-65 crash

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A motorcycle rider seriously hurt in a Madison crash earlier this month has died at a local hospital.

David Boone, 41, died Monday after he was injured Sept. 8 when riding his 1998 Honda north on Interstate 65. He attempted to exit onto Old Hickory Boulevard in Madison and lost control of the motorcycle, according to Metro police.

Boone, of Pinewood Road in Nashville, was wearing a helmet but died from his injuries at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
