NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
A woman is in the hospital after crashing into a tree near Andrew Jackson Parkway in Hermitage.
Police said the woman somehow lost control of her car, crossed over an embankment and careened into a yard.
The driver struck the tree and came just inches away from crashing into the home. She was rushed to the hospital with minor injuries.
Police are still investigating the wreck.
