NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
A teenager is in the hospital after a shooting on Claiborne Street.
The 17-year-old male victim was walking near Charles E. Davis Blvd. when a possible witness says two people approached him. One was on a bicycle, the other was on foot. The witness stated that the person on the bike began firing several shots at the victim.
Everybody ran in a different direction. The victim ran to the stairwell of a home, where he collapsed. He was shot a total of four times, twice in the stomach, and twice in the arm.
He was rushed to Vanderbilt Hospital, where is in critical, but stable condition. Detectives are still investigating the shooting. They have no suspect information at this time.
