NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
Neighbors are on edge after a double shooting and an attempted robbery Friday evening in west Nashville.
The shooting was reported before 9 p.m. in the 900 block of Taylor Merritt Court.
One person was transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center in critical condition, and the other victim was transported to Centennial Hospital.
Police said the suspected gunman was a teenager, possibly 16 or 17 years old.
Neighbors said that a group of young people typically hangs out on the street, but they were not sure who the gunman was.
One neighbor said that this kind of violence was unusual, because the neighborhood is typically quiet.
Police have not yet identified the victims.
