Suspect arrested in Hermitage bank robbery

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Metro police arrested a man just minutes after he was suspected of robbing a bank Friday afternoon in Hermitage.

The robbery was reported before 4 p.m. at the U.S. Bank at 3865 Lebanon Pike.

According to Metro Police, Randy Fielder, 47, entered the bank armed with a knife.

Witnesses then reported seeing Fielder run to a nearby house on Juarez Drive, where officers found him hiding.

No injuries were reported in the robbery.

Police said Fielder is expected to face federal bank robbery charges.
