CLARKSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Clarksville police blame a driver's inexperience behind the wheel in a wreck that left plenty of damage at an area gas station.

Officers were called Wednesday around 7:30 p.m. to the Kangaroo Express along Tiny Town Road, where they found a 2011 Toyota Venza sitting inside the business.

Police said the driver, Sara Kessa, 36, had only had her driver's license for a couple of weeks before the wreck. Investigators determined Kessa was trying to pull into a parking spot out front when she pressed the accelerator instead of the brake.

Nobody was injured, including Kessa and the people inside the store at the time.

Police did not issue Kessa with any citations, and officials did not release an estimate on the cost of the damage.
