Clarksville man accused of holding knife to teen's neck

CLARKSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Clarksville police said a man held a knife against a teenager's throat Saturday and had to be subdued by witnesses.

Police said the 15-year-old victim heard people fighting on North Riverside Drive around 10:30 p.m.

When he approached to see what was happening, Michael Joel Powers, 26, allegedly grabbed his shirt and held a knife to the young man's neck.

Witnesses held Powers down until he was arrested for aggravated assault.
