Trial begins for pair accused of murder at car wash

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Two men accused of killing another man at a car wash will stand trial today.

Leangelo Ramey and Kevin French are charged with first-degree murder in the 2008 shooting death of Andre Veals.

Police said Veals was washing his car on Gallatin Road when two men walked up and shot him. They sped away in his car and ran over him in the process.

If convicted, Ramey and French could face life behind bars.
