"Code Blue Pep Rally" planned for Titans fans tonight

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Tennessee Titans' fans are asked to show their Titans' spirit by wearing blue today as they gear up for Sunday's season opener at LP Field.

The team will throw a "Code Blue Pep Rally" Friday night to help kick off the 2012 season.

The fun runs from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Music City Walk of Fame Park in downtown Nashville.

Titans' cheerleaders, T-Rac and Mayor Karl Dean are among those expected at the event that is free and open to the public.

The Titans will host the New England Patriots Sunday at noon.
