SANTA FE, TN (WSMV) -
A close-knit community is dealing with a the tragic loss of a longtime husband and wife.
Authorities found the bodies of Jimmy and Barbara Prince inside their home in Santa Fe, TN, on Wednesday.
The Maury County Sheriff said they're investigating the case as a murder-suicide, however, they believe Jimmy may have killed his wife out of mercy.
Barbara was suffering from dementia and her condition was worsening.
The couple had been married for 48 years.
