
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Lipscomb University has posted its sixth consecutive year of record enrollment.
With an enrollment of nearly 4,300 students, officials say Lipscomb has added more than 1,200 students in the last five years.
In other growth this fall, more than 1,430 students live in on-campus residence halls and 35 new faculty members have been hired to serve the growing academic program offerings.
U.S. News and World Report's "2012 America's Best Colleges" guidebook ranks Lipscomb the 19th-best university in the South.
