Kiss singer Gene Simmons and the band's manager were in Nashville Tuesday to share words of wisdom with Nashville's aspiring songwriters and business leaders.
Simmons and manager Doc McGhee talked to a packed house at the Hutton Hotel ballroom.
They explained the importance of having a good business plan and as a performer, the importance of successfully executing every single performance.
"When you get up on stage, for us it's holy ground. We are an electric church and our bosses are not backstage sipping champagne, they're standing on their seats. You owe it to your bosses to give them the show of their life," said Simmons.
The Society of Leaders in Development, a local nonprofit, organized the event, which helps mark 15 years of assisting aspiring music industry professionals.
