TN Olympic gold medalist to speak at WKU

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) - Olympic gold medal swimmer Claire Donahue will be in Bowling Green speaking to the Class of 2016 at her alma mater Western Kentucky University.

Donahue is scheduled to speak to freshmen on Tuesday at 6 p.m. CDT in Diddle Arena.

Donahue is the first Olympic athlete from WKU to win a gold medal. She was part of Team USA's winning 4x100-meter medley relay team in London.

She is a native of Lenoir City, Tenn.
